We love reading about gadgets and gizmos anyway, so you can imagine our excitement at seeing all the amazing new tech being demonstrated at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) last week. So much so that we just HAD to be a part of it and sniff out a great opportunity or two.
Our client Binatone is currently developing its Motorola Scout range, and with its stand at CES it was demonstrating the very exciting Scout 5000. What’s not to love about wearable technology… for pets!
Keeping our ear close to the ground, we heard Business Presenter Rebecca Pike’s “barking mad” review on BBC Radio 2’s Simon Mayo show and so we couldn’t resist setting up a live interview for her with Binatone – live from Las Vegas! If anyone walked past our office at 5.30pm last Friday, they would have seen us all strutting a happy dance worthy of Britain’s Got Talent winner status (Diversity who?)
The collar, which comes with a GPS tracker, a camera, a microphone, and Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity, means we can always keep tabs on your beloved pets and make sure they’re not up to mischief!
Some other great gadgets which impressed us from the show included a washing machine which can do two loads at once – any woman will agree that this is pretty revolutionary!
Also unveiled was the world’s first smart toothbrush. We never imagined that such a simple daily item could become Internet enabled. The Kolibree toothbrush monitors and compares your daily brushing alongside recommending brushing techniques. Dentists all over the country must be singing hallelujah following the announcement!
Simon Mayo last week, a chat on the This Morning sofas with Holly and Phillip next?
