It’s the last day of August, and so I thought I would bid farewell to the summer (cough) heat, with a round-up of what’s been hot in spottydog across the past few months.
Kick starting the blog, is our work supporting kick-starter tech company PitPatPet, which this week cranked up the heat when the team entered BBC Two’s Dragons’ Den. Delivering its top dog activity monitor for dogs with the help of two of our favourite performing pooches Hazel and Bramble, the pressure left us feeling a bit hot under the collar, and though they didn’t walk away with the deal they wanted – two offers from Dragon’s Deborah and Nick shows their paws are going in the right direction, and here at spottydog we’re excited to keep delivering paw-some results for the start-up business. Feeling warmed up? Great! Next we’re travelling to the festival scene, and though spottypup Phil could regale you with his Glastonbury tales, I want to revisit our live experiential press launch for Motorola’s new Verve Life range – which saw us takeover a central London location and lock some of our top tech journalists in our festival themed escape game. Don’t worry our celeb launcher on the day, Nikki Dean, made sure they got out and our news hounds stayed hot on the tail of any opportunities and landed results in ShortList, Gadget Magazine, Mirror Online, Pocket-lint and Stuff to name a few.
As the temperature rose (you remember that one week that was hot right?), so did our team numbers – and here in the Leicester office we strengthened our team with two interns Jade Lyons and Christina Rotondo and in our Birmingham team Oliver Kirby has joined us to help us serve up even more results for our leisure clients.
