Dan joins spottydog with a wealth of experience working for some of the UK’s most recognisable retail brands in the UK. Whether it’s media relations, creating and leading campaigns or stakeholder management, he has a proven track record of delivering engaging content and activity.
Most recently a Communications Manager at Aldi UK, he established their regional media function, managed their product and brand awards submissions, and provided strategic counsel to guide their Brexit preparations. By championing Aldi’s cause with the Competition and Markets Authority, he also played a key role in halting the Asda / Sainsbury’s merger.
He brings a broad range of consumer PR experience from McDonald’s UK, leading a multi-million pound reimaging campaign for their restaurant estate and project managing a refresh of their grassroots corporate social responsibility activity. He is currently putting the finishing touches on his CIPR Professional PR Diploma, before setting his sights on becoming a Chartered PR Practitioner.
