It’s awards season: A win at the PRCA Dare Grand Prix and a shortlist for IC Brilliance

award-winning PR agency

With Christmas around the corner, we’re in the party mood already as our Founder & CEO Rachel Roberts has recently been announced as the PRCA Dare Awards Industry Leader of the Year. Announced on 1st October at Manchester Hall, Rachel was recognised for her outstanding performance as well as making a significant contribution to the PR industry and to our business which makes spottydog a committed award-winning PR agency.

The accolade was especially rewarding because the PRCA Dare Awards Grand Prix was the national event crowning the winners of the regional awards, including the Birmingham event in July, making Rachel Roberts a double winner.

We’re also keeping our fingers crossed for the IC Brilliance awards as we are delighted to have been shortlisted alongside our client Mitchells & Butlers for Brilliance in Innovative Use of Technology in IC.

It was around this time last year that our plans to launch a new intranet platform for our client Mitchells & Butlers were picking up speed. Following months of planning with the IT team and collecting feedback from employees on what they most wanted to see in the design of a new intranet, M&B asked us to produce a creative, engaging launch campaign that would maximise the number of corporate users on the platform. Launched in xxx, we saw great results in just the first few weeks – you can read more about it in our case study.

Sometimes when you’ve completed a piece of work you’re proud of, it’s reassuring to have feedback that it truly was something out of the ordinary. Being nominated for a joint IC Brilliance award along with the internal communications team at M&B, means that not only are we in a shortlist of just four stand out projects, but a panel of experts agree what we delivered is playing a role in the success of the organisation. The ethos of the awards is to ‘celebrate the outstanding contribution that innovatively designed and executed IC strategies makes. As a result, the winning of an IC Brilliance Award is an affirmation of excellence amongst industry peers.’

We’ll be in London along with the Mitchells & Butlers team on December 5th for the awards night, with our fingers crossed for a win!
