The spottydog pack are on the move! We can’t wait to settle into our new shiny penthouse pad in Birmingham city centre and get ready to welcome new team members in January to our new PR agency in Birmingham.
This move will make us Birmingham’s biggest city centre communications consultancy with a twenty strong full-time team and is a great way to start 2020 which is set to be a very special year for us as we celebrate our tenth anniversary.
In just ten years we’ve grown from one girl and her dog through to a multi-skilled consultancy team with expertise in PR, communications, internal communications, graphic design, video content and social media, working with some simply amazing clients and delivering award-winning campaigns.
It’s only been possible through our commitment to pedigree people and finding the best talent who thrive on learning, developing and challenging themselves to be best of breed. Testament to our commitment to investing in talent has been the accolade we have been awarded recently in the National Undergraduate Employment Awards where spottydog has been shortlisted as one of the top five SME employers in the whole country for creating job opportunities for graduates.
We’re really proud that to date we have given twelve graduates their first career opportunities and paid internships that provided valuable work experience and pay the Living Wage. We’ve also welcomed three undergraduates to work with us as part of Talent Spot, our one year paid industrial placement which again pays the Living Wage and ensures that graduates can earn while they learn.
Our new office design also features additional workstations so we can increase junior talent work placement and internship opportunities, together with a 40 capacity training room so we can welcome students into spottydog for guest lectures and soft skills training.
So as the rest of the world is getting ready to unwrap Christmas gifts, at spottydog we’re manically wrapping and packing ready for the big move. We hope you’ll join us in January to unwrap our new office and kickstart a year of celebrations as we celebrate our very special tenth year of spottydog.
