  • Understanding of the full production process, including pre-production, storyboarding, shoot and post production editing

It’s essential that candidates can demonstrate their creative pedigree with an interesting portfolio of work, but we’re open to bringing in a brand new pup looking to secure their first role, or alternatively welcoming someone with a bit of industry experience under their belt who is looking for the opportunity to be part of a fast growing company.

At spottydog, our mission is to create best of breed communications, delivered by pedigree people. We’re committed to supporting learning opportunities and continuous professional development, and will offer you professional membership, together with on the job training working with an awesome award-winning team.

Subject to experience you’ll be rewarded with a competitive salary ranging between £18,000 – £26,000 subject to experience together with a flexible benefits package worth an additional 5% of salary. This includes Perkbox benefits, 3% match pension, professional membership and the option to pick an additional benefit which includes mobile phone, healthcare, student loan repayment, gym membership or season ticket loan.

What’s more you’ll enjoy 24 days holiday and a flexible working environment. After three years’ service you’ll deserve a break, so we give an extra week of paid holiday which can be extended to enable up to 12 weeks’ time out for a sabbatical or to go travelling.

This role is based in our Birmingham city centre office, but you’ll have lots of opportunities to visit our clients across the UK, so it’s essential that you can drive. We intend that this is a full time role but would be open to considering candidates who are looking for a part time or school hours working pattern.

Your CV and career history will of course be of interest to us, but to apply we’d like you to submit a short video which demonstrates why you should be our new top dog.  In no more than one minute please showcase your skills, career history or provide evidence of the work you have done and convey your personality.  It would be great to see you on camera because we’re looking for confident, outgoing team members – so don’t be shy, but we know that this role is definitely not an acting job, so if you really struggle with the idea of being in the spotlight please just use your own creative route to respond to this task.

To be considered for this role please get in touch with us through with ‘Creative Executive role’ in the subject heading, with a summary of your career history / CV and link to your video by Monday 9th December.
