Closing date: 31/01/2019

Leicester meeting room

We’re on the hunt for a seasoned PR practitioner to join the spottydog pack in a senior consultant role to nurture and grow a diverse client portfolio.

Supporting our Divisional Director to manage delivery of stakeholder and media relations, influencer outreach, social media strategy and content, this is a brilliant opportunity for an ambitious account manager to step into a role that could fast track you further in your career.

You’ll be working on a diverse range of clients from our consumer, business and public sector portfolio, which includes Heritage Bathrooms, Mitchells & Butlers plc, BNP Paribas Personal Finance, ChuckIt dog toys, and the Energy Technologies Institute.

A creative approach is essential to develop inspiring and engaging campaigns in response to client briefs and collaborate with our in-house content department who deliver graphic design, video, animation and photography.

Organisation, people and project management skills are key to manage team, client commitments and project work, so the ability to shuffle, reprioritise and juggle will stand you in good stead.

You’ll also have an interest in what’s going on in the world – political, social, current affairs and consumer trends, as well as an analytical skill set so you can interrogate a story and find an angle that will resonate with the audience.

The role will suit a PR, media or communications professional who has experience of working within the consultancy / agency environment, but we will consider candidates from diverse career backgrounds.  We’re looking for commitment, passion, organisation, tenacity and an inquisitive mind.

At spottydog, our mission is to create best of breed communications, delivered by pedigree people. We’re committed to supporting learning opportunities and continuous professional development and will invest in CIPR membership to support you on the path to Accredited or Chartered status. Subject to experience you’ll be rewarded with a competitive salary ranging from £28,000 – £40,000, with extras such as 3% match pension, 24 days holiday together with up to five additional days offered for family care, and Perkbox everyday benefits. We offer a flexible working environment based at our leafy Leicestershire office, however due to the rural setting, a driving license and use of a car will be an asset.

To get spotted for this role please get in touch with us at by 31 January 2019.  Please be aware that we can’t wait to welcome a new pup to the pack so if we find a top dog before our closing date we will close our recruitment search ahead of this date.
