spottydog communications is a fast-growing Communications Consultancy with strength and depth of services across PR, social media, digital marketing, video and graphic design.
Thanks to growing demand in our studio and content team, we’re now on the look-out for the next creative pup to join our pedigree pack initially as a three-month internship which we hope will lead to a full-time career opportunity.
As an intern you’ll work side by side with our experienced senior content creator, led by our Client Services Manager, and get the opportunity to put your creative flair to the test across a mix of briefs across a diverse range of consumer, business and public sector clients which include Heritage Bathrooms, Mitchells & Butlers pubs, Vintage Inns, Toby Carvery, Miller & Carter, BNP Paribas Personal Finance, Chuckit! as well our own marketing efforts.
This is predominantly a graphic design role, which on a day-to-day basis will see you delivering dedicated creative client work for feature in press ads, brochures, marketing collateral, event and website design with support from our Client Services Manager. However, our studio team is small so this role also offers the opportunity to input into a variety of creative projects, from dedicated design projects, through to video production, motion graphics and social media content.
To be successful you’ll ideally be able to show us a proven track record in some, but not all, the following;
With a pet friendly office you’ll need to like dogs or our office dog Zac will be upset, as will some of our lovely pet sector clients. We’re not just barking though – as well as working with our ‘pet projects’ we work with clients within the technology, home interest, healthcare, professional services and leisure sectors, so experience or an interest in these areas would enable you to hit the ground running.
This internship offers a three-month paid placement salaried at the living wage. We may be open to offering a full-time contract to candidates applying who already have completed an internship or hold significant industry experience already.
We are proud to say that the five internships we have offered over the last four years have resulted in full time roles at spottydog, so we make no apologies that our internship selection process is challenging. We’re not looking for interns to make our coffee and do our admin, we’re looking for a pup that wants to build their career with us and share our passion for creating best of breed communications delivered by pedigree people.
Although the closing date for applications is 31st December we may conclude our recruitment process in advance of this date if we find the right candidate before this date, so please get your CV and covering letter to firstname.lastname@example.org telling us why you want to be our next top dog.
