In response to continued growth in our content and media production activity, the spottydog pack is looking for a creative top dog to join us as a Creative Services Manager.

It’s an exciting opportunity to work across our diverse range of consumer, business and public sector clients who include Heritage Bathrooms, Mitchells & Butlers pubs, Vintage Inns, Toby Carvery, Miller & Carter, BNP Paribas Personal Finance, Gateley plc, Chuckit! and the Energy Technologies Institute.

The role involves overseeing our Studio and Creative output across graphic design, video and photography, working with our client handling team to deliver digital content for use within PR, social media and internal communications activity, in addition to dedicated creative client work for feature in press ads, brochures, marketing collateral, event and website design.

Although this is a management role, working in a small Studio team will mean the Creative Services Manager will need to assist with Creative Direction and concept development, together with practical graphic design delivery at times of high activity.

This means we’re looking for someone with a hefty portfolio of creative work, who can demonstrate a wide range of experience delivering creative solutions for use across a variety of outputs; print, event, social media and digital content.  Its important that this experience means the Creative Services Manager fully understands the technical requirements and process to deliver the creative solution and can manage the process from brief through to output. An understanding of video production and photography is an advantage, but not essential.

We’re looking for someone with strong organisation skills, who can traffic manage multiple creative projects and manage the Studio team and freelance resource. We have ambitious plans to continue to grow spottydog, and our Studio practice, so this role creates a great opportunity for a Creative specialist to develop their commercial and business skills, working with the spottydog management team to further develop our Studio capability, team size and client portfolio in the future.

Subject to experience you’ll be rewarded with a competitive salary ranging between £24,000 – £40,000 subject to experience together with a flexible benefits package worth an additional 5% of salary. This role is based in our leafy Leicestershire operation, but you’ll have lots of opportunities to visit our Birmingham hub and our clients across the UK, so it’s essential that you can drive.  We intend that this is a full time role, but would be open to considering candidates who are looking for a part time or school hours working pattern.
