It’s a (spotty)dog’s life…

by Matt Suddaby |

Here at spottydog, we like to get creative and do things a little differently – whether it’s our award-winning campaigns, pedigree career opportunities or best of breed client relationships.

So, when we realised that lockdown rules across the UK were going to prevent us from flinging open our doors for our second open house event of the year, we were not deterred. Instead, we got to work thinking about how we could create an event that would enable people to step into our world and learn a little bit more about us, without needing to leave their home offices.

Our first Open House event, which took place in February, was a roaring success – connecting ambitious students to our team of bright, young PR and creative professionals. Dan Cooper’s talk on crisis communications was noted as a particular highlight – enthralling and engaging in equal measure.

This time around, though, we’ll be taking an alternative approach. Using some of the video conferencing technology we’ve all come to know and love, we will digitally invite you into our world.

We’ll be showcasing the very best of spottydog – whether you want to know more about us as a potential colleague or client or would just like to learn a little bit about our industry.

As part of this, our account managers, Emily, Alana and Olly will be talking about the creative process behind some of their standout campaigns – and thinking about how they ensured they delivered outstanding results for their clients.

We’ll also be looking at how we attract and retain a best of breed team – as well as exploring how we managed our big move into our shiny new home at the heart of the Second City.

And, of course, we’ll be opening up the floor to questions about PR and communications, giving you the opportunity to pick the brains of some of the brightest young talent in the business.

So hold the date, Friday 22 May, and join us for our Virtual Open House – the very best way to learn about life working with a communications consultancy, without needing to go walkies.
