Even top dogs love giving a-pawse to their Pedigree Chums

The spottydog pack have been enjoying flurry of awards activity as we were proud to be shortlisted as best small consultancy in the UK at the CIPR Excellence Awards and also for consultancy and campaigns at the PRCA Midlands DARE awards last week.

Naturally at these events, when we’ve worked really hard against all the odds to deliver results for our clients, we really hope that we’ll get recognition from our peers and walk away with the glory.

So we were thrilled to be awarded the PRCA Midlands DARE Award for our work with Aqua Park Rutland in the campaign challenges category which reflected our challenge of launching a brand new water park at a time when Facebook was being flooded with fake water park stories, in less than one week from briefing to delivery. Not only did we manage the issue by offering responsive social media customer service, we secured influential third party endorsement for Aqua Park across local media and with trusted third parties such as tourism organisation Discover Rutland. The result was a splashingly good season for Aqua Park Rutland which means we’ve been rebriefed to support the attraction’s 2017 season. So please buy tickets and go visit them soon!

But as well as celebrating our own awards, when we took a look at the work other PR professionals have also been delivering we think that our Pedigree PR Chums also deserve a round of a-pawse which we’re happy to give.

In particular we want to congratulate our pals at Stone Junction for two DARE Awards, WPR Agency for winning PRCA DARE Midlands Consultancy of the Year and our fellow Excellence finalists Balls2Marketing. Winning awards is great, but winning them with our PR pals means it was definitely a night to celebrate.  And if you want to see how we celebrated at the CIPR Excellence Awards take a sneak peek at our vlog from the night here.
