We were briefed to generate excitement around a new concept under the Vintage Inns brand, which introduced a more upmarket feel to the family-favourite pubs. The client required event support, press outreach and digital engagement – all of which was aiming to generate footfall for the pubs post rebrand and position them as a high-quality, family-friendly place to eat and drink in the local area.
We offered a full package of PR, social and events support to maximise each of the pub openings. Through direct invitations to local businesses we outreached to in excess of 200 businesses directly for each pub – and generated valuable leads using a Facebook competition. As well as local businesses, we also called upon our network of influencers and sent them invitations to attend. We also provided event support for two sessions across the day, helping to ensure the smooth running of each event and managing the VIP guestlist. In addition we reached out to local media in order to promote the pub’s big reopening date.
So far, we’ve opened six pubs, contacting over 1,200 local businesses directly and generating over 100 leads on Facebook per pub opening.
