Relaunching Vintage Inns to local guests through VIP launch party events

Hospitality Social Media

Brief

We were briefed to generate excitement around a new concept under the Vintage Inns brand, which introduced a more premium feel to the family-favourite pubs. The client required event support, press outreach and digital engagement – all of which aimed to generate footfall for the pubs post rebrand and position them as a high-quality, family-friendly places to eat and drink in the local area using hospitality social media.

Action

We offered a combined package of PR, social and events support to maximise each of the pub openings. Through direct invitations, we outreached to over 200 local businesses directly for each pub, communicating the upcoming relaunch and offering guestlist only access before the public opening.

Facebook competitions also helped us to generate valuable leads with the use of targeted ads an effective way of engaging users in the pub’s local area.

In addition to key local businesses and competition winners, we also utilised our network of influencers and local media contacts by inviting them to attend the two launch events.

To guarantee the smooth running of the launch events, we provided on-site support at both VIP sessions for every opening. This service saw us managing the guestlist, liaising with guests, and welcoming key influencers and media to ensure that coverage outputs were positive.

Alongside guestlist generation and event support, we communicated details of the reopening to local media through a pre-opening press release and by sending site photography post-opening to showcase the site’s new look.

To ensure that momentum was maintained in the weeks and months following the relaunch, we organised a follow-up food review with a prominent local influencer after the site’s opening.

Results

So far, we have supported all six of Vintage Inns’ new concept pubs with their openings, securing 26 pieces of regional media and influencer-generated coverage in the process.

Our events support has seen us identify and contact over 1,200 local businesses directly and generate over 100 leads on Facebook per pub opening. In total, we achieved 1,960 guestlist RSVPs across the six sites.
