As specialists in diabetes and telehealth services, Spirit Healthcare needed to raise its profile with several stakeholders; people with diabetes, CCGs, GPs, specialist nurses, patient groups and charities.
During a six-month media relations programme, we delivered authoritative features, regular news, awards entries and case studies to deliver coverage that would influence purchasing decisions and improve search engine optimisation (SEO). We also worked with Spirit Healthcare on ‘Know your Ketones’ awareness week, providing photography, video content and a Thunderclap campaign to engage with influencers prior to a new product launch.
We exceeded our target for coverage, including interviews and features in the healthcare press, technology trade press, NHS websites and regional media, as well as being shortlisted for three national healthcare awards. The #knowyourketones Thunderclap campaign reached 127,641 people on social media and the video was watched by more than 9,000 people during the week-long campaign.
