To raise awareness about Credit Unions as a banking facility to a wider audience in the East Midlands. The requirement was to communicate to new and existing customers about the benefits of ethical lending and to encourage regional businesses to provide credit union benefits to their employees.
spottydog implemented a communications plan which involved the creation of video content and bespoke support to help EMCU reach regional businesses with their service. A series of five videos were created each targeted to a specific audience, for example; raising awareness of credit unions to new customers interested in ethical lending, encouraging existing customers to tell their friends and a B2B video to inform East Midlands businesses on the benefits of working with credit unions to provide payroll savings plans for staff.
We created five videos for EMCU to use on their digital marketing channels and also created an engaging roadshow presentation for EMCU to take to East Midlands business networking events and public exhibitions. This comprehensive toolkit contained “Guinness World Record” ice breakers, stakeholder benefit information and the new videos. We also secured speaker slots at five networking events for the credit unions which each had an average attendance of 40 decision makers.
