Mitchells & Butlers asked us to support the PR activity for the company’s new opening and remodel programme across several of its well-known brands such as Toby Carvery, All Bar One, Stonehouse Pizza and Carvery and Sizzling Pubs. The company wanted a co-ordinated approach to improve both the delivery and return on investment across its openings activity.
To develop a suite of content and PR options for each brand to select from to ensure the activity could flex to support the individual needs of each business. The options included offering media relations and photography, as well as influencer outreach, food reviews and event support including guest and stakeholder list management. In addition, social content and online community relations could be selected to support local social channels by location.
By centralising the activity options each marketing team had a clear outline of the activity they could invest in and an agreed evaluation and reporting mechanic to share back with the Operations teams.
