Going Facebook Live with Heritage Bathrooms

Home improvement social media marketing

Brief

To support the launch of Heritage Bathrooms’ first ever Trends and Inspiration guide – an inspirational printed magazine for interior designers and design fans – spottydog was tasked with raising awareness of the work Heritage had done with colour expert Ali Munro to establish the unique colour concepts. spottydog also had the aim of encouraging consumers to engage with the Facebook Live and drive downloads and requests of the booklet via their website.

Action

To showcase Heritage’s expertise and provide an exciting, visual and engaging way for consumers to discover more about the launch of the new brochure, we staged a Facebook Live with Ali Munro live from the Heritage Bathrooms showroom.

Teasing the event for a week leading up to the stream with graphics and boosted posts, as well as securing press coverage about the Facebook Live within trade titles kbbdaily and KB-eye, we received questions from the Heritage Facebook community to put to Ali in a live Q&A video.

Not only did this reinforce the brand’s credentials, allowing consumers to see ‘the experts behind the brand’ and get the added value of free professional design advice, but it also provided a way to discuss the trends booklet and give a sneak peek at the content inside to encourage downloads.

Result

spottydog achieved two pieces of Kitchen and Bathroom industry trade coverage promoting the Facebook Live, with combined circulations of 22,000. The video itself to date has reached 6,459 people on Facebook and has been watched over 3,200 times. The video also increased page likes on Heritage’s channel, with new organic page likes on the day of the stream alone.
