We’re based in the heart of the UK’s second-biggest city
Our talented pack of PR professionals come together from all over the Midlands to work in Brum.
There are so many reasons why spottydog is a great place to work, but having our office right in the hustle and bustle of Birmingham is certainly amongst the top. Located just a stone’s throw away from the well-known Victoria Square, we’re well-connected to everything that Brum has to offer — from the host of Midlands organisations and charities to the abundance of delicious food and drinks spots on our doorstep.
Have a look at how we’re supporting the city as a top Birmingham PR agency…
Providing pro-bono support to the Midlands’ best-loved animal charity
We’re proud to have Birmingham Dogs Home as a charity partner. For over a year, the team has been supporting the organisation in several ways, starting with the ’Take the Lead' challenge back in May 2020 where we walked a collective three million steps to raise over £500. Since then, we’ve provided pro-bono PR and social media support for their campaigns, such as 'Pawsitivty Month' and ‘Healing Hearts Campaign’.
Most recently, we secured national broadcast coverage on ITV and BBC for the charity, spreading their important message about the growing number of dogs arriving in the home at Christmas.
We’ve loved working with them, and that’s why we couldn’t be more excited to have our very own kennel named after us at their Solihull HQ!
Working closely with Birmingham PR students
We have a long-standing relationship with Birmingham City University (BCU) , working closely with PR, media and communications students to help them get a paw in the door after graduation. We’ve also been honoured to welcome BCU students into spottydog HQ for our Open House events, offering them the chance to quiz our pups all about life in a fast-paced Birmingham PR agency. Some of those event attendees have even gone on to undertake one of our Birmingham PR Internships .
Not only that, but we have some BCU alumni in the team — enter Senior Account Manager Maddy and Account Executive, Karlie! Check out Karlie’s blog on why she chose the city of Birmingham to work and study in.
Supporting charities across the city
Another one of our charity partners is LoveBrum — an organisation dedicated to supporting hidden gem projects across Birmingham that are often volunteer-led and that deliver real change. The charity supports over 36 projects per year and its vision is to reach all corners of the city to remind people how great Birmingham is. As a pack of native and adopted Brummies, it’s a cause we feel passionate about.
Birmingham business networking
The city’s business district is not to be sniffed at. We’re a proud member of Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce , which is dedicated to connecting, supporting and growing local businesses. Plus, our relationship with Colmore Bid allows us to take advantage of all that Birmingham’s business district has to offer, like networking events.
Birmingham clients
We’ve got clients from up and down the UK, but we also provide communications support to businesses right here in the heart of Birmingham.
We’ve been working with Mitchell and Butler’s , one of the largest operators of restaurants, pubs and bars in the UK, since 2011. Working with household brands such as Toby Carvery , O’Neill’s and All Bar One , it’s pawsome to provide hospitality PR support to a Birmingham-born-and-bred business.
Another one of our Brummie clients is UK Hairdressers, and we provide social media and PR support for its well-known Regis and Supercuts brands.
Proud to be a top Birmingham PR agency
We could go on and on about our love for the city — in fact, don’t get us started on our collective love for Rudy’s Pizza or the joy of having the Frankfurt Christmas Market on our doorstep! But, the fact of the matter is, it’s an honour to be a Birmingham PR agency, connected to all the brilliant Brummie businesses, organisations and charities.
